Thomas "Tom" W. Weyneth
71, town of Texas, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 2, 2012.
He was born July 10, 1941 in Wausau, son of the late Alexander and Beatrice (Bloom) Weyneth. On September 18, 1965, he married Janice Accola in Medford. She survives.
Tom was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Cuban Missle Crisis.
For 26 years, he worked at Federal Mogul as a machinist, until his retirement in 2003. Tom was a Boy Scout Leader for Troupe #403 for many years, along with his son, Jason.
Some of Tom's favorite pastimes include, cooking and baking for his family, playing cribbage, watching the Green Bay Packers and he was a diehard ice-fisherman.
Survivors include, his wife, Janice Weyneth, Wausau; three children, Alice "Allie" Schultz, Wausau, Amy Jo Babl, Weston and Jason Weyneth, Wausau; four grandchildren, Alexander, Trevor, Mason and Ava Janae; one sister, Bonnie (Maynard) McCallin, Wausau; and many nieces.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and James Weyneth.
In accordance with Tom's wishes, no funeral services will be held.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Harish Ahuja and his nurses and the nurses on the Aspirus Wausau Hospital Oncology Unit for all the wonderful care and support given to Tom during his illness.
