Thomas "Tom" E. Radenz, 57, Kronenwetter, died Saturday, May 28, 2016 unexpectedly up north in the Spirit Falls area.
He was born October 8, 1958 in Wausau, son of Beatrice (Meyer) Radenz and the late Earles Radenz. On August 21, 2004 he married his soul-mate, Cindy Engelhardt in Spirit Falls.
Tom thrived on living life to the fullest and especially loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, four wheeling and being at the Spirit Falls Lodge. Tom also enjoyed watching NASCAR and he never missed the Sunday morning Polka Show. He was an incredible cook and was always willing to lend a helping hand to neighbors, family and friends.
Growing up he participated and excelled in numerous sports and activities. He also taught ATV classes in Ogema, WI. He was a dedicated, hard-working, and loyal employee of Overhead Door Company of Wausau for over 30 years. He had a heart of gold and a smile that you'll never forget.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Radenz, Kronenwetter; daughter, Brianna Radenz, Weston; step-daughter, Alexis Phaneuf, Platteville; mother, Beatrice Radenz, Wausau; sisters, Cathy (Craig) Flagel, Plover, Karen (Dick) Schroeder, Moyock, North Carolina, and Chris (Ted) Byrne, Tomahawk; numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
In addition to his father, Earl, he was preceded in death by a special uncle, Ray Meyer.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, with services immediately following all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
"They say friends don't let friends play with Tommy, but, we'd give anything to play with him one more day."
