Thomas Lee Miler

December 18, 1918 — May 18, 2003

Thomas L. Miler 84, Rothschild, died Sunday May 18, 2003 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. He was born December 18, 1918, in Delavan son of the late C. Lawrence and Nellie (Hemphill) Miler. On December 24, 1941 he married Ann Krebs in Ft. Stevens, OR. She survives. Tom was an Insurance Agent for Old Line Life Insurance Company in Wausau for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II. He was a member of the Roy Drew Post #492 American Legion Rothschild, an active member of the Republican Party, Wausau Elks Lodge #248 and the Wausau Rotary Club. Survivors include his wife Ann, Rothschild; daughters Trudi Makoid, Madison, Bette Clement, Hastings, MN; four grandchildren, Elizabeth and Andrew Makoid, and Sara and Matt Clement. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother James Miler and a sister Lucille Oakey. Memorial services will be 5:30 p.m. Friday May 23, 2003 at Covanent Community Presbyterian Church, Schofield. The Rev. Sid Bouldin will officiate. Burial will be Wednesday 12:30 p.m. May 21, 2003 at the Saucerman Cemetery, town of Cadiz, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to the Church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home 3400 Stewart Ave., Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
