Thomas E. Lom, 67, Wausau and formerly of Appleton, died Tuesday November 6, 2001 at his home.
He was born August 9, 1935, in Little Chute, son of the late Peter and Nellie (Ruiter) Lom. On May 24, 1964 he married Susan Tjernlund in Waukegan, IL. She survives.
Tom was an over-the-road semi-truck driver. He enjoyed his work, loved his wife and family, and will be missed by all who knew him, including his 'little girl Holly.'
Survivors besides his wife Susan, Wausau; include his children, Linda (Trini) Lopas, Kimberly, Donna (Tom) Cummings, Kaukauna, Michael Lom, Green Bay, Thomas (Karen) Lom, Milwaukee, Scott (Constance) Lom, DesMoines, IA; six grandchildren, four step grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brothers, Wilbert (Lorraine) Lom, Lady Lake, FL, Ronald Lom, Appleton; a sister, Jane (Geno) Zastrow, Appleton; a half-brother Herbert (Josie) Lom, Seymour; a sister-in-law Christine Tjernlund, whom he loved very much and thought of as a daughter; and cousins and dear friends Earl & Louanne Louze, Wausau.
