Thomas G. Dalbec

Thomas G. Dalbec 62, 816 LeMessurier St., Wausau, died Sunday, May 29, 2005 at his home. He was born November 30, 1942 in Wausau, son of the late Chester and Marie (Cypress) Dalbec. On September 20, 1987 he married Cathy Wallace at Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau. She survives. Thomas worked at the Wisconsin Department of Brain Injury Waiver at the North Central Health Care Center in Wausau for over nine years. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, watching NASCAR races and Packer games and taking an occasional trip to the casino but most of all he cherished the time he spent with his family. Survivors include his wife Cathy Dalbec, Wausau, his children, Shane (Tammy) Dalbec, Rothschild and Craig Dalbec, Kronenwetter, one granddaughter, Kendra Dalbec, three sisters, Judy (Gene) Seehafer, Grain River, Wyoming, Mary (Rick) Vigneau, Green Bay and Susan (Chris) Erickson, Rothschild, along with many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Thomas was preceded death by one son Ryan Dalbec and one daughter Allison Wallace. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2005 at Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau. The Rev. Joel Schmalz will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
