Thomas V. Buntrock

Thomas V. Buntrock 76, 1402 Golf Club Road, Wausau, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at his home. He was born May 19, 1930 in Wausau, son of the late Norman and Esther (Peterson) Buntrock. Thomas served as a sergeant in the Army for three years. After working at Murray Machinery for 23 years he owned The Pizza Shop in Mosinee and then was the bookkeeper for the Wausau Conservatory of Music until his retirement this last spring. Survivors include one sister Duaine(Carroll) Pieper, Schofield; one daughter, Maribeth (Hart) Nakawaasah and their children Westley, Max, Grant, Benjamin and Nickolas, all of Richardson, Texas; one son, Rick (Anne) Buntrock and child Sam, Wausau; step grandchildren Jaime Martino, Menomonie and Lee Martino, Eau Claire. Dad's wishes were for no funeral, so we will honor his last wish. Papa will be greatly missed by his grandson Sammy. "He said, 'Do not fear, greatly beloved, you are safe. Be strong and courageous!'"
