Therese Bergs

Therese Bergs, 89, formerly of 221 Scott Street, Wausau, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau. Therese was born January 9, 1913 in the town of Rietbrock, daughter of the late William and Margaret (Schueller) Bergs. Therese worked 30 years in Milwaukee for the Square D Manufacturing Company. She was proud to have been an active member in the former St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. Survivors include one brother, Norbert (Delores) Bergs, Marathon; two sisters-in-law, Josephine Bergs, Edgar, Marcella Bergs, Marshfield, many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Clara (John) Miller; two brothers, Joseph Bergs and Paul Bergs. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 5, 2002 at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Wausau. The Rev. Stephen Gross will preside. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, Poniatowski. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. Friday, until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau, is in charge of the arrangements.
