Theresa D. Zoromski

Theresa D. Zoromski Rib Mountain, died Thursday August 23, 2007 at the Hospice House, Wausau. She was born July 25, 1912 in Kelly, daughter of the late Leon and Jeanette (Modrzejeski) Wanta. On November 7, 1933, she married Ben Zoromski at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death April 16, 1976. Prior to her retirement she had been employed for 24 years as a cook at the former Bill's Fine Food, Wausau. Among her favorite things to do were cooking, baking, polka music, gardening and playing cards with her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. Rose and was also a member of St. Regina Circle of the St. Catherine Council at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Survivors include her sons, Donald (Janette) Zoromski, Germantown, Eugene (Mary) Zoromski and Gary (Christine) Zoromski, all of Wausau, a daughter-in-law, Marlene Zoromski, Wausau, 11 grandchildren, Cheryl (Keith) Reagles, Jeffrey Zoromski, Suzette Firnrohr, Steven (Jennifer) Zoromski, Carla (Anthony) Fowle, Timothy (Amy) Zoromski, Terri Zoromski, Michelle (Donald) Boehm, Juelle (Bobby) Whippler, Casey Zoromski, Rebecca (Vincent) Schwede, 12 great grandchildren, Paul Reagles, Ronald, Patrick & Jacob Firnrohr, Jonah & Allison Fowle, Abigail & Anna Zoromski, Ella Schwede, Cameron & Hayliegh Wiroll, Noah Whippler, step-grandchildren, Gary (Lisa) Bornheimer, Jody (Teri) Bornheimer, Christine Narue, Robert Throop, Robert Radtke, Michael (Kathy Pierchalski) Radtke and step great grandchildren, Zachary & Kendy Bornheimer, Sophia Narue, Natasha, Dominick & MacKenzie Throop, Charlotte & Danielle Boehm, Hannah Radtke. Besides her parents and husband, Theresa was preceded in death by two sons, Lyle and Kenneth, a brother, Henry and two sisters, Agnes Osten and Pauline Kiska and a step grandchild, Scott Bornheimer. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday August 27, 2007 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Herbert Zoromski and Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish and St. Catherine Council rosary service at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Stewart Avenue funeral home. Theresa was an outstanding example of love and was a real blessing to everyone within her family. She will be truely missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Aspirus Hospice House.
