Theresa V. Myszka

Theresa V. Myszka 96, formerly of Spruce Lane, Athens, died Thursday January 15, 2004 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born December 27, 1907 in the town of Cassel, daughter of the late Anton and Martha (Lepak) Wadzinski. On June 21, 1926 she married Casimir J. Myszka at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cassel. He preceded her in death December 12, 1966. Theresa was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, baking and music. She was a devoted member of Holy Family Catholic Church and their Parish Council of Catholic Women. Survivors include her children, Dorothy Literski, Ervin (Lorraine) Myszka, Mary Ann (Jerome) Albrecht, all of Athens and Doris Carroll, Copperas Cove, Tex., 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Leona and six brothers, Harry, Peter, Adolph, Adam, Anton Jr and an infant brother. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday January 19, 2004 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. Rev. Charles Hiebl will preside. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
