Theresa M. Felzkowski

Theresa M. Felzkowski, 91, Colby, formerly of Athens died Saturday, March 23, 2012 under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice at Pine Ridge Assisted Living Center, Colby. She was born March 5, 1922 in Poniatowski, daughter of the late John and Martha (Retka) Pietrowski. On October 25, 1941 she married Alois Felzkowski at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. He preceded her in death on September 23, 1994. Theresa worked various jobs in the area; some of them included the Edgar Basket Co., Northern Star in Stratford and lastly she worked at the M & M Bakery in Athens until her retirement at the age of 80. Some of her favorite pastimes included traveling, tending to her flower beds and making quilts for all of her family to enjoy. Survivors include her children, James Felzkowski, Athens, Donna Wogernese, Chippewa Falls, Mary (Melvin) Marohl and Kenneth Felzkowski and his friend, Janice, both of Athens, 12 grandchildren, Jeffery Felzkowski, Jane Wisniewski, John (Karen) Felzkowski, Jean (Leeroy) Felzkowski, Michael (Kara) Marohl, Mitchell (Stacy) Marohl, Matthew Marohl, Michelle (Troy) Diethelm, Mark (Kim) Wogernese, Brian (Kim) Wogernese, Amy (Chris) Lynd and Jason Wogernese, 21 great grandchildren, Reginald, Katelyn and Trevor Felzkowski, Nathan Brost, Tyler and Christina Gajewski, Ethan, Edison, Miller and Macy Marohl, Daxton and Danica Diethelm, Riley, Alex, Madison, Dylan, Alyssa Wogernese and Jordan and Kaylee Ewings and Mya and Gabby Lynd, 6 great great grandchildren, Abigail, Nevaeh, Tylen, Aydrean, Cedrick and Deattrick, one sister, Martha Kremsreiter, Athens and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2013 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. The Rev. Charles Hiebl will preside. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Athens.
