Theodore "Ted" J. Dederich

Theodore "Ted" J. Dederich, 55, Wausau passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 22, 2013 at his home. He was born October 3, 1958 in Madison, beloved son of Virginia "Ginny" (Wolf) Dederich, Wausau and the late Lawrence "Lorry" Dederich. Ted is survived by his mother, Virginia "Ginny" Dederich, Wausau his siblings, Brian (Gina Palazzari) Dederich, Menomonee Falls and Connie (Mark) Piasecki, Rhinelander. He was proud uncle to four nephews, Aaron and Ben Dederich and William and Adam Piasecki. He is further survived by special friend Debra Leitermann and also other family members and many friends who loved him. Ted was a long time operations manager for a variety of industries in Wisconsin and on the east coast. There was little Ted loved more than to be outdoors in nature. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed spending time at the land he cared for and nurtured with his father. Ted also enjoyed his Harley and supporting his favorite team, the Packers. Ted was the type of person who was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. His kind and generous spirit will be missed by many. Besides his father Lorry he was preceded in death by his sister Leesa Dederich. He cherished the company for many years of his faithful companion, Luke his golden retriever. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 221 North 28th Avenue, Wausau. The Rev. Robert Thorn will preside.
