Teresa C. Woodward

Teresa C. Woodward Teresa Woodward passed away December 4, 2001, at her residence after a short illness. She was born April 19, 1913, to Severio and Cristina Betonti in Hurley, Wisconsin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold (1982). She is survived by a sister, Lucille Hunnel, Fresno, California; a son Lowell (Sonia) Laredo, Texas; a daughter, Ruth (William) Schulz, Wausau; five grandchildren, Gretchen (Peter) Erdman, Schofield, Natalie Woodward, Austin, Texas, Kirsten Kiljoyne, Wausau, Mark (Antonette) Woodward, Houston, Texas and Susan Schulz, Superior, Wisconsin; four great grandchildren, Kirk and Maari Erdman, Schofield and Ben and Nina Kiljoyne, Wausau. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2001 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friend may call from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the time of services at the 6th St. funeral home. Teresa graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1934 with a degree in Speech Therapy. She started her career in speech therapy with the Wausau School District in 1934. After staying with her children, she worked as a Case Worker with the County Department of Human Services and later she returned to her profession of speech therapy and worked for the County School District traveling to a number of schools. She was a member of St. James Parish.
