Tanya N. Augustine

Tanya N. Augustine, 84, Athens, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at her home.

She was born September 30, 1941, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Walter “Larry” and Sylvia (Swosinski) Ligocki.

Before retirement, Tanya worked as a floral designer and had a love of decorating and crafting. She also enjoyed taking walks and watching movies. Most of all, Tanya loved spending time with her children.

Survivors include her children, Lanie Augustine, Brian Augustine, Kendall (Anne) Augustine; step-grandchildren, Jessica (fiancé Josh Baran) Giarth and Adam Giarth; step great-grandchildren, Theo and Zoey.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Per Tanya’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
