Sylvia H. Wadzinski

Sylvia H. Wadzinski 96, Rothschild, died Thursday March 30, 2006 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born October 10, 1909, in Rib Falls, daughter of the late Henry and Hermine (Graebel) Harder. She married Louis J. Wadzinski in 1928. He preceded her in death. Sylvia was a homemaker and full time wife and mother. She was an active member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild and was very proud of the fact that her sons were all Veterans that served their country. Survivors include her children, Randy (Evelyn) Wadzinski, Boyceville, David Wadzinski, Jennie (Morris) Schwede, all of Wausau, Wallace (Jackie) Wadzinski, Eland, Tom (Carol) Wadzinski, Joyce (Jack) Elbe, all of Lac du Flambeau, Daniel (Judith) Wadzinski, Wausau, Leon (Barbara) Wadzinski, Weston, Kristi (Duke) Schneider, Wausau, Steven (Elizabeth "Peach") Wadzinski, Mosinee, a daughter-in-law, Marion Wadzinski, Wausau, 48 grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, two sisters, June Krueger, Stevens Point, Jeanette (Wilbur) Pruss, Wisconsin Rapids, a brother, Walter Harder, Madison and two very special friends, Margo and Phyllis. Besides her parents and husband, Sylvia was preceded in death by her children, Victor Wadzinski and Virginia "Ginger" Prelipp. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Noon Weds. April 5, 2006 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Janusz Kowalski will preside. Entombment will be in the Garden of Eternal Rest Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Weds. From 11 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
