Sylvia Turinski Korth

Sylvia (Turinski) Korth 81, of Weyauwega, a former Marathon resident, died Saturday June 12, 2004 at Riverside Medical Center, Waupaca. She was born May 1, 1923 in Merton, Wis., daughter of the late Arthur and Bertha Oldenhoff. On June 5, 1948 she married August Turinski in Menomonee Falls. He preceded her in death June 28, 1967. Survivors include four children, Sandy (Wally) Schoebel, Watertown, Thomas Turinski, Weyauwega, James (Colleen) Turinski, Watertown, Dianna (Jeffrey) Brendemihl, Muskego, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several brothers and sisters. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ralph and Gary Turinski. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Weds. June 16, 2004 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon. Rev. Joseph Diermeier will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Marathon. Friends may call on Weds. from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the Marathon funeral home.
