Susan Flynn

Susan Flynn, 97, 724 Dekalb Street, Wausau, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. Susan was born May 30, 1905 in Eau Claire, daughter of the late John and Minnie (Klein) Flynn. Susan attended nursing school in Minneapolis, Minnesota and prior to her retirement was the head of the Obstetrics Department at the former St. Mary Hospital in Wausau. She was a dedicated and devout member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau and their Parish Council of Catholic Women. She is survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Esther Friedich, Doloras Flynn, Mary Flynn; one brother, Larry Flynn; nephew William E. Flynn. The funeral mass will be celebrated 1p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2003, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. Joseph Rafacz will preside. Entombment will be in Holy Angels Mausoleum, St. Michael Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Saturday from noon until the time of services all at the church.
