Susan Fischer

Susan Fischer 51, Wausau, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 at home surrounded by her family due to a lengthy fight with cancer. She was born August 7, 1955 in Wausau, daughter of Wallace and Genevieve (Koback) Kaminski. On August 9, 1975 she married Jerry Fischer. He survives. Susan loved to work and play games on her computer. She was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting statues and pictures of angels. Most of all she cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Fischer, Wausau; two children: Gina Fischer, Wausau and Tracy Koo, Wausau; eight grandchildren: Ciara, Savannah, Austin, Dalton, Jerry, Donovan, Clayton and Dawson; four brothers: Donald (Ramona) Kaminski, Wausau, Dennis (Dorothy) Kaminski, Wausau, Eugene (Gail) Kaminski, Wausau, and David (Carol) Kaminski, Mosinee; three sisters: Barbara Salyers, Wausau, Virginia (Jimmy) Waters, Sparr, Flor., and Marlene (Lenny) Kell, Wausau; she is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Barney Kaminski and a sister, Caroline Kaminski. Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday May 3, 2007 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Father Marion Talaga will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Torun. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4pm -7pm and again on Thursday from 9am until the time of services, all at the sixth street funeral home.
