Susan M. Bohm

Susan M. Bohm, 68, Wausau, died Thursday, December 15, 2016 at her home. She was born February 12, 1948 in Wausau, daughter of the late John and Lorraine (Goulet) Nowak. On October 5, 1985, she married Terry Bohm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. He survives. Susan was a hairdresser for many years and worked for the former Priscilla Beauty Salon in Wausau. Among her favorite pastimes, she liked to knit, make prayer shawls for those in need and was an avid bird watcher. Susan always looked forward to spending weekends up North with her sister, Laurie. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband, Terry, Wausau; one sister, Laurie (David) Nieuwenhuis, Wausau; one brother, Michael Nowak, Benzonia, Mich.; nieces and nephews, David "D.J." and Jason Nieuwenhuis, Mark (Kim) Nowak, Shelly (Clem) Thompson and Heath (Jenn) Nowak; grand nieces and nephews, Mason, Whitney, Clement, Caleb and Carson; and many other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Marlene Nowak. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
