Steven Zachary Mumford

Steven Zachary Mumford, 15, 1436 Bopf Street, Wausau, died Friday, November 1, 2002 at his home. Steven Zachary was born September 28, 1987 in Wausau, son of Brett Mumford, Wausau and Jodi (Jehn) Mogavero, Wausau. He was a student at Wausau West High School. He was a kind, witty, good humored, intelligent and creative person who will be remembered for his pretty eyes and gorgeous smile. Classical music and playing his violin were among his favorite things to do. He was a very talented artist and could draw most anything. Steven loved to cook and watch cooking shows. He was loved and will be missed by all. Survivors include his mother, Jodi (Al) Mogavero, Wausau; father, Brett Mumford, Wausau; one brother, Trent Heckendorf, Merrill; two sisters, Jade Jehn, Wausau, Hannah Mogavero, Wausau; paternal grandmother, Lois Mumford, Wausau, maternal grandparents, Barb (Craig) Bessette, Wausau; two great grandfathers, Wallace Jehn, Wausau, Joseph Field, Wausau. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Gill Mumford, maternal grandfather, Brian Jehn. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. The Rev. Dennis Pegorsch will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
