Steven P. Blume
45, 407 Kolter Street, Wausau, died Friday March 25, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital after enduring 23 years of Multiple Sclerosis.
He was born October 20, 1959 in Wausau, son of Marvin and Beverly (Poeske) Blume, Marathon.
Among his many interests, he enjoyed photgraphy, music and shortwave radio. Steven was also an avid listener of National Public Radio broadcasts.
Survivors include his parents, Marvin and Beverly Blume, Marathon, a sister, Laurie Ann (Scott) Ivey, Mosinee and their children, Jacob and Samantha; a brother, Michael (Linda) Blume, Marathon and their children, Caitlin and Jenna; maternal grandparents, Rudy and Lillian Poeske, Marathon.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Marie Blume and his very special God parents, Ben and Dorothy Springer.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday March 28, 2005 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. Rev. Joseph Diermeier will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
