Stanley "Lawrence" Stoltz, 83, Wausau, died Sunday, February 2, 2014 at his home.
He was born August 2, 1930 in Wausau, son of the late Walter and Stella Stoltz. In May of 1954, he married Donna Kroening in Redwing, Minn. She survives.
Lawrence was a veteran of the United States Army and served from 1951 until 1954. He worked at Restlawn Memorial Park in Wausau as head grounds keeper until his retirement. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed fishing with his son, Steven and taking long drives with his wife to watch deer.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Stoltz, Wausau; one grandson, Bronson Stoltz, Mosinee; three sisters, Doloris Kersten, Phyllis (Bob) Barteltt and Lillian (Ronald) Gauger; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. There will be full military honors on Saturday conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Burns Post No. 388, Wausau.
