Stanley S. Starzinski

Stanley S. Starzinski 87, 305 S. 5th Avenue, Edgar, died Friday April 4, 2003 at his home. He was born September 18, 1915 in Marathon, son of the late Ignatz and Mary (Sekorski) Starzinski. On May 11, 1946 he married Leona Teresinski in Poniatowski. She survives. Stanley was a farmer and had been employed at Stratford Homes prior to his retirement. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Leona Starzinski, two daughters, Barbara (Bill) Harness, Maine; Carol (Gerald) Hargraves, Marathon; grandchildren, Jeffrey Hargraves, Marathon, Jill Wurz, Edgar, Christen Hargraves, Wausau, great-grandchildren, Jackie Wurz, Marathon and Harley Wurz, Edgar. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret Erdman, Clara Drewek, Mary Teresinski, Lucille Kruesel and three brothers, Peter, John and Alex Starzinski. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 9, 2003 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar, is in charge of arrangements.
