Shoua Vang

Shoua Vang 86, Wausau, died Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born April 23, 1920 in Laos. She married Yong Ma Thao, he preceded her in death. Shoua enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time outdoors. Survivors include three sons, La Xue (Pai) Thao, Samson (Ko) Thao and Joua (Pa) Thao, all of Wausau; six daughters: Va (Chay Xeng) Xiong, Wausau, Song (You Pao) Xiong, Milwaukee, Mai Thao, Ramsey, Minn., Ploua (Seng Pao) Xiong, St. Paul, Minn., Yer (Cha Yee) Yang, St. Paul, Minn. and Ta (Bert) Blaine, Milwaukee;and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Yong Ma Thao, she was preceded in death by one son, Blong Thao; three daughters, Ying, Mee, and Tria Thao; one sister, You Vang; and two brothers, Xao Lue Vang and Long Yao Vang. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2007 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter. Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2007 from 9 a.m. until midnight, Saturday from 9 a.m. until midnight, Sunday from 9 a.m. until midnight, and Monday from 9 a.m. until time of the services, all at the Stewart Avenue Funeral Home.
