Shirley A Philipp, Tomahawk (and formerly from Wausau), 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 15, 2026, under the care of the Aspirus Wausau Hospital Palliative unit. Shirley was born on November 16, 1935, in the township of Texas, Marathon County, WI to the late Max and Martha (Johlke) Hartig.

Shirley is survived by her daughters Patricia (Bob) Jumbeck and Pamela (Jim) Daniels, her Grandchildren Matthew (Jerica) Philipp, Stephanie (Jeff) Stone, Ashely (Tony) Davis, Jessica (Nick) Davis, and her Great Grandchildren Mason Koepke, Nova Haasch, Max Haasch, Cecelia Stone, Jaxton Philipp, Parker Philipp, Jedrix Philipp, Jaylex Philipp, and Maddix Philipp. She is proceeded in death by her late husband Robert Philipp, her 5 brothers and 5 sisters, her daughter Karen Philipp, and her son Robert Philipp.

Shirley and her late husband Robert owned and operated Northern Service Toyota in Wausau. After selling the dealership, Shirley continued her career in the Auto Industry as the Service Manager for Jim Buck Toyota and finally retired after serving in the health care industry at North Central Health Care.

Shirley had a passion for her time up north, being at the lake, playing cards, tending to her plants and flowers, having family and friends visit, steak and lobster on Christmas Eve, and a cold Miller Lite.

There will be a friends and family gathering in honor of Shirley on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 2pm to 5 pm at 4 Father's Pub, 1724 Merrill Ave, Wausau, WI 54401.
