Shirley M. Mershon

Shirley M. Mershon 58, 404 4th St., Marathon, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born April 14, 1944 in Wausau, daughter of the late Reinhold and Flossie (Bacon) Burk. Shirley was a retired homemaker. Survivors include three sons, Robert (Jenny) Chesney, Wausau, Brett (Tiffany) Chesney and Brian Chesney both of Marathon; two grandchildren; one sister, Edie (Arlan) Emon, Wausau and one brother, Edward Burk, Athens. Memorial services will be at 6:00 p.m. Monday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. Monday until the time of services at the funeral home.
