Shirley M. Kropla

Shirley M. Kropla 83, Wausau, died Saturday, September 1, 2007 at her home. She was born December 17, 1923 in Wausau, daughter of the late Zelda (Schamer) Pregont. On January 20, 1945 she married Rondell Kropla in San Francisco. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2000. Shirley was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and collected figurines of roosters, chickens and angels. She loved spending time with her family and especially cooking for them Survivors include her daughters, Susan (Ronald) Kankelfitz, Ringle and Sally Kropla, Wausau; grandson, Brad (Teri) Kankelfitz, Wausau; great grandchildren, Corwin and KayLee; sister, Charlotte (Eugene) Tahlier, Shawano and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Marlyn Helmstadter will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
