Shirley M. Dittmar

Shirley M. Dittmar 55, 2100 East 6th Street, Merrill, died Monday, May 9, 2005 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill. She was born August 5, 1949 in the town of Texas, daughter of the late Carl and Dorena (Jaeger) Dittmar. Shirley worked at Northern Valley Workshop in Wausau. She enjoyed writing, shopping and going out to eat. Above all things she cherished her many dolls and animals. Survivors include her siblings, Donald Dittmar and Earl Dittmar, both of Merrill, Doris (Ray) Madden, Merrill, Edward (Carol) Dittmar, Tennessee, Ethel (Hans) Tritten and Marjorie (Frank) Tritten both of Merrill. Shirley is further survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Janice Gibbens and one brother Gerald Dittmar. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2005 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. John Meachen will officiate. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
