Sharon M. Stencil

Sharon M. Stencil 59, 311 East Chesak Street, Edgar, died Saturday, November 17, 2001 under the care of St. Joseph Home Hospice Care at her home after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Sharon was born April 27, 1942 in Marshfield, daughter of Ralph and Martha (Andres) Kaiser, Edgar. She married Clifford Stencil July 1, 1961 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. He survives. Sharon was a wonderful homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking, entertaining and relaxing at the cottage. Sharon was very active in various church groups at Sacred Heart parish, Cassel and St. John parish, Edgar. She was also very active in many other community organizations. Survivors besides her husband, Clifford Stencil, Edgar and her parents, Ralph and Martha Kaiser, Edgar, are her children, Carolyn (Michael) Gosse, American Fork, Utah and their son, Connor, Joel (Marcia) Stencil, Edgar, and their children, Luke, Phillip and Leah, Anita (Andrew) Krautkramer, Marathon, and their children, Ashley, Ryan and Austin, Carey (Christina) Stencil, Edgar, and their children, Cody, Dylan and Kaily, Rosanne (Gary) Johnson, Harshaw, Jerelyn (John) Koosmann, Mellen and Jennifer Stencil, Edgar, brothers and sisters, James (Florence) Kaiser, Sheboygan Falls, Marilyn (Louis) Hack, Marathon, Paulette (Larry) Lang and Dennis (Emily) Kaiser, all of Edgar, Barbara (Ed) Solinsky, Mosinee, Edward (Elizabeth) Kaiser, Hastings, Minnesota and Mark (Laurie) Kaiser, Sheboygan. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2001 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. Rev. Bernard Raschke will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. Monday at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service at 7 p.m. Monday at the Edgar funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Sharon's name is being established.
