Sharon A. Knorr

Sharon A. Knorr 49, Athens, died Saturday June 10, 2006 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born July 31, 1956, in Wausau, daughter of Dolores (Wielock) Knorr, Athens and the late Donald Knorr. Sharon had been employed at Securitas Security Services, Schofield. Among her favorite things to do were reading, crocheting, watching sports, baking and shopping. Survivors include her mother, Dolores Knorr, Athens, a brother, Gerald Knorr, Athens, aunts and uncles, Margaret Knorr, Wausau, Orville Lang, Milwaukee, George and Phyllis Wielock, Marathon, a god daughter, Stacey Gajewski, special family members, Annette and Wayne Gajewski, Erin and Matthew Gajewski. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Knorr. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday June 15, 2006 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. Rev. Chalres Hiebl and Deacon Leroy Knauf will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Weds. From 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
