Sharon Lee Franke

Sharon Lee Franke, 59, Topaz, Michigan, died peacefully on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau, Wisconsin, with family by her side. She was born December 7, 1957 in St. Ignace, Michigan. In her younger years, Sharon worked for the USDA Forest Service in Bergland, Michigan and most recently she was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Gogebic Medical Care Facility for 22 years, until her retirement. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed going to the casino, crocheting, knitting and was an avid fan of the Detroit Red Wings and Green Bay Packers. Sharon was very generous, caring and humble and was always willing to help someone in need. Survivors include, one son, Jared (Justine) Franke, Green Bay, WI; her father, Tim Lesinski, Topaz, MI; one sister, Sandy (Roger) Wyman, Ironwood, MI; two brothers, Tim (Karen) Lesinski, Hurley, WI and Dave (Dawn) Lesinski, White Pine, MI; and many nieces and nephews.
