Sharon L. Frank

Sharon Frank, age 91, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 3, 1933, Sharon was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who treasured every moment spent with her family.

Sharon found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved playing bingo, immersing herself in her adult coloring books, and sharing her lifelong admiration for Elvis Presley. Her warmth and humor brought people together, and she will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Sharon is survived by her beloved children; Pam Molling, Steven (Cheryl) Frank, Scott (Dottie) Frank and Brian (Joetta) Frank. She was a proud grandmother to Heidi (Keith) Apfel, Michael (Rose) Frank, Nathan (Jess) Molling, Ashley Frank, Jordan Frank, Shaylin Frank, and Adler Frank. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren: Jordan Molling, Leonard Molling, DJ Nelson, Sophie Smith, Arlo Martinez, Korbin Molling, Dayton Mueller, Zackary Frank, Ava, Hayden, Zeke, and Knox.  Sharon is also survived by her dear sister, Nancy (Dennis) Heil.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Leonard Frank, siblings; Violet (Wally) Martins, Phyllis (Victor) Bradfish, Charles (Clara) Brown, Gordon (Joyce) Brown and George (Eleanor) Brown, as well as her parents, Ida and Charles Brown.

Sharon’s family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with those who passed before her, while her love and memories remain alive in their hearts.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 pm Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at the funeral home.
