Selma "Sally" Mais, 92, Wausau, died Tuesday, February 11, 2003, at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Schofield.
Sally was born December 18, 1910, in the town of Stettin, daughter of the late August and Wilhelmina Seehafer. She married Earl Mais on October 3, 1936, in the town of Stettin. He preceded her in death October 18, 1976.
Sally was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, especially apple pie, going to the family cottage in Minocqua, spending time outside in the flower beds, and being around her loving family.
Survivors include two sons, Val (Suzanne) Mais, Marathon, Ritchie Mais, Merrill; one sister, Esther Wilde, Wausau; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Besides her husband Earl and her parents she was preceded in death by 17 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 13, 2003 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Wausau. The Rev. Bruce Lamont will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, town of Stettin. Friends may call on Thursday, from 10 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
