Scott James Warner

Scott James Warner passed away on March 2, 2014 at his home surrounded by his wife and family. Scott was born on January 26, 1953 to Rodney and Rita Warner in Medford, Wisconsin and was a graduate of Mosinee High School. He married Marcele (Marcie) Baranowski on July 10, 1982 in Rothschild, Wisconsin at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Scott was a machinist for 40 plus years retiring in June of 2012. His love of the outdoors enabled him to experience life to the fullest and enjoy all of God's creation. One of his favorite was trout fishing on Wood Creek and the Thompson River at mile marker #22 in Montana. Many hours were spent hunting, fishing, hiking and teaching his children and anyone he could about the wonders of the great outdoors. He was looking forward to carrying on this tradition with his Grandchildren, who were the Apple of his Eye. Scott also enjoyed woodworking, making many treasures for family and friends. Scott is survived by his wife Marcie, Stepson Eric and Angela Gorski and their children Stephanie and Stephen of Fayetteville, NC, Daughter Molly and Jason Borski and their children William and Alexander of Mosinee. His Mother Rita Warner, Siblings Bethany and Steve Weber, Kalispell Montana , Trudy and Richard Fink, Oak Harbor Washington, Peggy and David Kowalski, Todd and Lynn Warner, Brian Warner, and John and Natalie Rieck all of Mosinee and many nieces and nephews and friends and of course his loving companion beloved dog Daisy. He is preceded in death by his Father Rodney Warner, Sister Deborah Warner and Special Godson and Nephew Jameson Rieck. A celebration of Scott's life will be held on March 8, 2014 at St John's Lutheran Church Mosinee. Visitation is at 4:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 5:30pm. Scott and Family would like to thank his family, friends and anyone who made him laugh, loved him and enjoyed life with him.
