Scott G. Marthaler

Scott G. Marthaler 46, 3706 Mount Vernon Ave., Milwaukee, died Thursday January 8, 2004 under the care of the Hospice Program at St. Mary Hospital, Milwaukee. He was born September 4, 1957 in West Bend, son of Donald Marthaler, Brokaw, and the late Adeline (Vesely) Marthaler. Scott had been employed in the construction trade. He enjoyed hunting, trout fishing and gardening. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Donald and Rita Marthaler, Brokaw, special friend, Karen Richards, Milwaukee, his children, Chelsea Richards, who affectionately referred to him as "Bubba"; Aja Chirpke and Tristan Marthaler; two sisters, Gwen (Dale) Albrecht and Christine Marthaler, all of Wausau, one brother, Robert Marthaler, Madison; a sister-in-law, Barbara Marthaler, Wausau, aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Adeline and a brother, Russell Marthaler. Memorial Services will be 4:00 p.m. Monday January 12, 2004 at the Brokaw Village Hall, 200 Second Street, Brokaw. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Friends may call on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at the Village Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
