Sarot Deegudtum

Sarot Deegudtum, 46, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born September 6, 1980, in Thailand, son of David Morrison and Sumittra Deegudtum.

Sarot worked as a Senior Analyst for Aspirus and lived a life rich with experiences, friendships, and family. Born in Thailand, his journey took him to Abu Dhabi and Dubai before he came to the United States to earn his Bachelor's degree in Mankato. He later made Wisconsin his home, where he built both a career and a life centered on those he loved most.

Sarot had a passion for sports, especially soccer and ice hockey as well as having a black belt in Taekwondo. He enjoyed coaching Canadian ice hockey and found joy in helping others develop their skills and love for the game. He was also known for his creativity and sense of humor, often making up rap songs or entertaining family and friends with karaoke performances that brought laughter and smiles to those around him.

Above all else, Sarot was a devoted family man. His greatest happiness came from spending time with his loved ones, creating cherished memories, and supporting them through every stage of life. His kindness, enthusiasm, and love for family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Survivors include his wife, Sheng Yang; children, Jenelle, Landon, Anekan, Jasmin, Jli and Junion; father, Dave Morrison; mother, Sumittra Deegudtum; siblings, Lain, Christina and Scott; numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.
