Sarah A. Crabtree

"Sarah Ann Crabtree, age 88, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025 in her home.

Sarah is survived by her sister Betsy Barre, daughters Katherine Crabtree and Anne Meisner, and grandchildren Andrew and Eleanor Meisner. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Eleanor and Edwin Shearman in 1936.

Throughout her life she was a devoted member of her church with a love of others’ company and music, as evident by her lifelong piano study and choir contributions.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church, Wausau.  Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service all at the church.

In lieu of flowers, please direct any gift donations to First Presbyterian Church or Wausau Conservatory of Music.

The family would like to especially thank the staff of Primrose, Mountain Terrace, and Interim Hospice for their compassionate care that kept her comfortable and happy in the final years of her life."
