Sally Brzezinski

Sally Brzezinski 86, Wausau, died Friday, March 28, 2003 at Colonial Manor Medical & Rehabilitation Center, Wausau. She was born December 12, 1916 in the town of Cassel, daughter of the late Thomas & Anna (Mallak) Matushak. On May 21, 1935, she married Edward Brzezinski in the town of Cassel. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1961. Sally was a housekeeper at the former St. Mary Hospital, Wausau until the time of her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, dancing to polka music and playing cards with her family and friends. Sally was a charter member of the Church of St. Anne. Survivors include two sons, Stanley (Delores) Brzezinski, Wausau and Alex (Marilyn) Brzezinski, Indianapolis, Indiana; eleven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Esther Paszek, Wausau. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Brzezinski; one grandson, Jeff Brzezinski; three sisters, Florence Buchberger, Martha Matushak and Theresa Matushak; three brothers, Philip, Prosper and Felix Matushak. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2003 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
