Sadie Tucker

Sadie Tucker, 94 of Wausau, died Thursday, December 12, 2002 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. Sadie was born May 17, 1908, in Wausau, daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Klein) Hoover. She married Wilford E. Tucker on December 9, 1926 in Wisconsin Rapids. He preceded her in death in May of 1974. Sadie was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Joan Porter, Wausau; a daughter-in-law, Florence Tucker, Wausau, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald, one brother and one sister. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2002 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau. The Rev. Bernadette Bruner will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Sunday from noon until the time of services all at the Sixth Street Funeral Home.
