Ruth Charlotte Templeton

Ruth Charlotte Templeton (Thurk), 89, Wausau, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Rennes Health Center, Green Bay. She was born October 24, 1921 in Wausau, daughter of the late Hugo and Meta (Wolfgram) Thurk. She married Edmund "Jitts" J. Templeton, he preceded her in death in 1981. Ruth worked at First American Bank in Wausau and enjoyed traveling, sewing, golfing and expanding her extensive doll collection. Survivors include, one son, David (Jane) Templeton, Green Bay; five grandchildren, John James Jr., Julie James, Aaron Templeton, Megan (Vassilis) Panagopoulos and Molly Templeton; and two great grandchildren, Barbie and Scott James. Besides her parents and husband, Edmund, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara James; one son, Daniel Templeton; and one son-in-law, John James. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2011 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Robert Koller will officiate.
