Ruth E. Pickett

Ruth E. Pickett 76, 209 N. Ohio St., Merrill, died Monday, April 15, 2002 at the Hospice House, Wausau. Ruth was born September 15, 1925 in Francesville, Indiana, daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Ford) Beiswanger. On October 11, 1944, she married Charles Pickett. He preceded her in death on December 25, 1991. Ruth and her husband farmed in Rusk County until the time of their retirement. She enjoyed gardening. Survivors include one daughter, Ronnie (Dennis) Erickson, Deer Park; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryle Tobias and two sons, Richard and Robert Pickett. Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the 6th St. funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials directed sent to Good Samaritan Hospital, Merrill or the Hospice House, Wausau.
