Ruth Ida Kufahl

Ruth I. Kufahl 94, Wausau, died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau. She was born April 19, 1914 in the town of Hamburg, daughter of the late Henry and Ottilia Juedes. On October 6, 1934 she married Herman Kufahl in the town of Hamburg. He preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Vernon (Joyce) Kufahl, Wausau and Virgil (Betty) Kufahl, Ringle; five grandchildren, Debby Feltz, Brian Kufahl, both of Wausau, Kathy Hogan, Oshkosh, Barbara Zunbuchen, Madison and Dan Kufahl, Wausau; four great grandchildren, Joey Feltz, Andy Feltz, Ryan Kufahl, all of Wausau and Ashley Hogan, Oshkosh; one sister, Loetta Dirks, Edgar and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Herman. The funeral service will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 12, 2008 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau. The Rev. Sarah Nehring will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of services all at the funeral home.
