Ruth G. Heinz

Ruth G. Heinz 85, 1228 S. 11th Ave., Wausau, died Weds. Jan. 2, 2002 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born January 26, 1916 in Tomahawk, daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (Hartner) Wangard. On May 16, 1936 she married Orville W. Heinz in Tomahawk. He survives. Prior to her marriage, Ruth was a teacher in rural Lincoln County, then devoted herself to being a homemaker. She enjoyed card playing. Survivors include her husband, Orville W. Heinz, Wausau, a son, Orville N.(JoAnn) Heinz, Wausau, a daughter, Joan Heinz, Wausau, grandsons, Mark (Amy) Heinz, West Salem, Jeff (Diane) Heinz, Ringle, Corey (Roya) Heinz, Merrill, granddaughter, Lori Heinz, Wausau, great-grandsons, Jonathon & Benjamin Heinz and Alexander & Nicholas Heinz. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 5, 2002 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Anthony Dichoso will officiate. Entombment will be in the Garden of Eternal Rest Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
