Rudolph "Rudy" Rader

Rudy H. Rader, 89, Wausau, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012. He was born October 14, 1923 in Marathon, son of the late William and Grace (Karlen) Rader. On August 16, 1945 he married Margaret Martin at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Halder. She preceded him in death on June 22, 2005. Rudy worked for over 20 years as custodian at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, prior to working at Wausau Homes. Survivors include his son, Joseph (Jean) Rader, Wausau; two grandchildren who he loved dearly, Jamie (Tracey Kempf) Rader and Joe (Samantha Reynolds) Rader; siblings, Jerome (Mary Ann) Rader, Schofield and Joan (George) Chojnowski, Tinley Park, Illinois. Besides his parents and wife, Margie, he was preceded in death by six siblings, Joseph, Clarence, Herbert, William and Ervin Rader and Marie Boehm. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Halder.
