Rosemary Thomas

Rosemary Thomas, 83, Wausau, died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born January 23, 1931 in Illinois. Among her favorite pastimes, she loved playing bingo, shopping and making crafts. Survivors include, four children, Deb Thomas, Weston, Cheryl Thomas, Oregon, Frank Thomas, Wausau and Gary (Karen) Thomas, Aniwa; eight grandchildren, Holly (Marc) Sherwood, Nichole (Nate) Albright, Cher Vachowiak, Heidi Asbury, Ashley Asbury, Jason Thomas, Andrew Thomas and Heather Thomas; and five great-grandchildren, Hailey Asbury, Cole Seymour, Melanie Wisnewski, Gianna Gizzi and Arianna Albright. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifton; one daughter, Sheila Asbury; and her siblings. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Chaplain Bob Polesnak will officiate. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
