Rosemary Kolbeck, 78, formerly of Wausau, died peaceful on Friday September 18, 2015 in Colorado Springs, Colorado after a short illness.
She was born July 18, 1937 in Wausau, daughter of the late Edwin J. and Gwen (Clark) Kolbeck. Rosemary lived a majority of her life with her parents and after their deaths she lived briefly in Startford with her brother, Clark and in Appleton with her sister, Esther. For the past several years she was in Colorado Springs under the wonderful care of her sisters, Jean and Kathy.
Rosemary's religion was an important part of her life. She also had many hobbies such as playing cards, puzzles and hook rugs. She also had a love of animals and a special enthusiasm when singing Happy Birthday.
Survivors include four siblings, Clark (Leah) Kolbeck, Stratford, Jean Ann (JW) Brackett, Colorado Springs, Katherine Kolbeck, Colorado Springs and Esther (Richard) Christian, Appleton, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday September 25, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. James Schaefer will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
