Rosella Magdaline Albrecht

Rosella M. Albrecht Rosella Magdaline Albrecht, 91, Athens, has gone to rest with the angels in paradise on Sat. February 20, 2010. She was born March 12, 1918 to William and Clara (Auner) Schmitt in a log cabin North of Highway A on Meridian Road in the township of Halsey. She was raised by her mother and grandfather after her father died when she was four. She and her siblings spent school months in Wausau and summers with grandfather Henry Schmitt, in rural Athens. On October 12, 1937, she married Joseph Albrecht at St. Mary Catholic Church, Wausau. He survives. Joe and Rosella celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary in 2009 She and her husband spent most of their married life farming JoeA
