Rosalie "Rosie" S. Boggs 77, Weston, died Sunday, February 5, 2006 at Saint Clare's Hospital, Weston. She was born March 10, 1928 in Waupaca, daughter of the late Albert and Lydia (Snyder) Braatz. Rosie was a homemaker, worked as a waitress for many Wausau area restaurants and retired from Fiskars after many years of employment. Following retirement, Rosie spent many summers at a campground in Lake Nokomis. Among her many interests, she enjoyed needle work and gardening. Survivors include her long time companion, Tom Engels, Weston; nine children, Thomas (Sally) Driscoll, Wausau, Bonnie (Leif) Steuck, Lake DuBay, John (Rose) Driscoll, Kentucky, Patricia (Paul) Simon, Gleason, Leanne Gallagher, Weston, Janet Laurent, Weston, Tim Driscoll, Wausau, Darryl (Joli Passini) Driscoll, Fond du Lac and Colleen (John) Staeck, Gleason; one daughter-in-law, Marilyn Driscoll, Waukesha; 22 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one sister, Jeanne Higgins, Marshfield; her dog, Tippy; and her cat, Cinder. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry Driscoll; and eight brothers and sisters. Private family services will be held.
