Ronald J. Sattler

Ronald L. Sattler, 60, of Rothschild, formerly of Bloomington, Minn., died Saturday December 2, 2017 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 20, 1957, the son of the late Alice and Leonard Sattler, Ron was a graduate of DC Everest High School and North Central Technical College. For 28 years, he had been employed as a Mechanical Engineer by Entrust Datacard of Shakopee, Minn. Ron was a loving, caring person that enjoyed life. An avid golfer, Ron also loved bowling, snowmobiling and playing cards. He especially looked forward to the annual golf outing with school buddies and friends. Survived by sisters; Cathy (Dale) Burnett, Sally (Morgan) Holzapfel, Peggy (Scott) Smith; a brother, Joel; an aunt, Phyllis Spaude; a niece, Lori; two nephews, Andy and Brian; great nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Ron and his brother, Joe had a very close relationship. They would do anything for each other. Ron will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday December 6, 2017 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 602 Military Road, Rothschild. The Rev. Allan L. Slowiak will preside. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
