Ronald B. Krause

Ronald B. Krause, 67, Chippewa Falls, a former Athens resident, died Saturday June 30, 2012 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire. He was born July 15, 1944, in Racine, son of the late Clarence and Henrietta (Stubner) Krause. Prior to his retirement, Ronald was a longtime employee of the Wausau Music Center. Among his favorite things to do were fishing and keeping up with the Brewers. He especially enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren. In Ron's passing, the world lost a wonderful, stubborn, sassy, caring and incredibly strong man. Survivors include six children, Steve Krause, Marshfield, Rhonda Krause, Weston, Kraig (Molly) Krause, Oregon, Wis., Robin (Chad) Brandner, Green Bay, Roxana (significant other, Josh Strand) Tibbets, Chippewa Falls, Nicki (Tom) Paul, Edgar, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one brother, Alan (Hazel) Krause. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda and four brothers. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 5, 2012 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens.
