Ronald Charles Koltz

Ron was welcomed into Gods arms on July 24, 2019 at Azura Memory Care in Wausau.

He was born on December 16, 1938 to Harry and Emily (Switalski) Koltz in Milwaukee. He attended Hartland High and UWM.

He married Carol (Hanson) in North Lake in 1966, which is where they raised their family.

Ron will be dearly missed by his wife, Carol, their 3 children, daughter, Elaine (Tom) Schneider of Wausau and their four children, Matthew, Jacob, Margaret, and Katherine;  daughter, Caryn (Bobby) Alexander of Muskego, and their family, Tyler, Cody (Emily) and their daughter Audie; also, son, Joseph (Connie) of Casa Grande, AZ and their three children,  Alex, Megan, and David.  He is further survived by his brothers, Larry (Mary Ellen) and Michael (Kay) and their children.

Ron’s focus in life was his faith and his family. He was totally devoted to both. He will be remembered for his generous, loving spirit, his gift for writing, especially poetry, and his sense of humor.

Ron and Carol were able to enjoy 20 years of retirement being snowbirds, most recently moving to Ave Maria, FL full time in 2017.

The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at St Michael Catholic Church in Wausau with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church.  Rev. Msgr. Mark Pierce will preside.  Burial will take place at St. Teresa of Calcutta Cemetery in North Lake on August 31, 2019.
